Arrive at Sankri post lunch. Be greeted by the magnificent views of the greater Himalayas. Enjoy a beautiful sunset from your guest house and relax for the rest of the night post dinner

• Today your day will entail a local tour of 2 villages namely, Sankri and Saud. Post breakfast at your guesthouse, you will be introduced to your local guide who will share a little history about Sankri and Saud with you and then take you on an experience of a lifetime. Your first destination will be the Sankri village, we will not just take you to market of Sankri but take you deep inside the village which lays just below the market. Sankri is a beautiful village with about 35-40 families residing their as locals. We will then take you to Saud village, which is larger than Sankri with 70-80 families residing there. First we will take you to the local temple of the village. As history tells us, all the villages in the Sankri range worship the Kauravas from the Mahabharata. Many people find it amusing because most of the temples in India from the period of Mahabharata are known to worship the Pandavas. After your visit to the temple, we will then take you on a visual journey of old wooden houses, local Himalayan culture, terrace farming, etc. Post your Saud village excursion, we will take you to a homestay where you will enjoy a 100% organic locally grown and sourced lunch. Here you not only enjoy the local food but also get to interact one on one with some of the locals o We return to the guest house in the evening where you can unwind for the remainder of the day

• On your third day you will pack an overnight bag as we will be taking you to another village to spend the night. Your next destination is Jakhol which is about 17 KM from Sankri and the drive up to Jakhol is simply amazing. Fun fact, the movie Mudda 370 was shot in Jakhol, as the village was portrayed as one of the villages in Kashmir. Jakhol is one of the biggest villages in the Sankri range with about 100+ families. Jakhol offers beautiful views of the Supin range which remain snow covered for the entire year. Jakhol also has a beautiful temple which has very fine craftsmanship displayed on its wooden displays. Today you will take a tour of this village with the local guide and check-in into your homestay where you will be spending the night. Enjoy the local delicacies, some local dance and folk music

• Today your day will start early in order to catch a beautiful sunrise from Jakhol village. We will then head back to our homestay. Post breakfast, we will leave for a road less travelled to another village called Phitadi. Phitadi’s drive is quite adventurous with a beaten track and deep valleys but none the less beautiful views. Phitadi is a relatively smaller village which can even be termed as remote. We will take you to their terrace farming areas of the village where you will be told about the local produce like potato, red kidney beans, amaranth, apples, etc. After a heart meal at Phitadi, you will now head back to Sankri. Upon arrival in Sankri in the evening, you will check back into your guesthouse and unwind for the rest of the day
